[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1473092203320{margin-top: 32px !important;margin-bottom: 32px !important;}”]As a bride to be, you’ll probably have heard the term ‘Trial Run’ when researching wedding hair and makeup artists but you might not be so familiar with what a trial run actually is.
When you’re deciding who to choose to do your all important wedding day hair and makeup, there’s no better way of find out if a bridal hair/makeup artist is for you than by spending some time with them and trying out some different looks.
I always insist on trial runs with my brides, as should every bridal hair and makeup artist. If you find one who doesn’t offer this or tell you that it’s a must, run a mile! The trial run is a key part of the process that all results in you having the perfect wedding day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1315″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1473092064741{margin-top: 32px !important;margin-bottom: 32px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1473092230329{margin-top: 32px !important;margin-bottom: 32px !important;}”]
What is a Trial Run?
A trial run is when you meet with a bridal hair and makeup artist to find out if you’re compatible and to try and find a hair and makeup look that you absolutely adore. There are no strings attached when my clients come to me for their trial run, there is no obligation to book at all.
How Long is a Trial Run?
My trial runs have no time limit, just as long as it takes to find that special look, but as a rough guideline you should expect it to take at least 3 hours so we can try lots of different ideas together. However, this isn’t always the case with other hair and makeup artists, so it’s always best to check first.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1679″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1473092016556{margin-top: 32px !important;margin-bottom: 32px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1473091954570{margin-top: 32px !important;margin-bottom: 32px !important;}”]
What’s Included?
My trial runs always include both hair and makeup for a complete look – right down to the individual false lashes! We’ll have a good chat about all the things you love and all the things you don’t; if you’ve got some inspiration images we’ll go over those together too to try and establish what sort of thing you are drawn to.
As well as listening to all of your needs and trying out everything you want to have a go at, I will also offer my professional advice on what I think might work for you. You would be surprised at how many people end up choosing a look they never would have pictured! Sometimes you just have to try before you know. The final look will always be what you want though, and we’ll work together to find it.
What’s The Next Step?
Once your trial run is finished, there is no need to book there and then, although a lot of brides-to-be do like to put down their deposit for their wedding day hair and makeup right away to secure their date!
You can take your time deciding and get back to me whenever you’re ready, but the sooner the better to avoid your wedding day being booked up by someone else.
